The RIS-FS2 telecommunications interface connects overhead line indicators FLA4 with an RTU or a higher-level control system. It collects error, status, and measurement data via short-range radio and makes it available via an RS485 interface with Modbus protocol. As a Modbus server, the RIS-FS2 not only enables events to be read out, but also allows the indicators to be parameterized remotely. The device is designed for DIN rail mounting and is particularly suitable for retrofitting existing RTU installations.
