The FLA4 fault current indicator is a modern overhead line indicator for reliable detection of short circuits and ground faults in medium-voltage overhead line networks. Faults are detected using fixed current thresholds or an adaptive automatic mode, as well as a di/dt algorithm with voltage loss testing. Configuration and readout are conveniently performed using a bidirectional handheld transmitter—without dismantling the device. A 360° LED with a focusing lens ensures optimum visibility even from a greater distance. Integrated event log, voltage detection, and optional SCADA connection enable efficient network monitoring.
The FLA4 fault current indicator can be equipped with the RIS-FM telecommunication interface. RIS-FM and RIS-FS2 . This allows for easy and retrofittable integration of the overhead line indicators into existing remote monitoring systems.
